Make way Terminators, Avengers, Guardians and Justice League ..the World needs more Different-ors!

Remember the super ad in the 90s, from the house of Maggi? To promote their hot and chilli tomato ketchup?

It was based on a ridiculously simple (and fun) but bold premise – “It’s different.”

Coming back, what does it mean to be seen as “different”? (a Differentor, if I can use this to pep things up a bit 🤟🏾)

Why is this important, one may ask?

I recommend taking that one behind the barn and …….

mentoring them. 😁

Let’s try and bring forward the seemingly less understood phenomena – of being different.

So what do Differentors do?

They make it fun, they challenge, they compete, they motivate, and they create pathways.

What does this entail?

for one, extreme passion
next, high energy
followed by perseverance / drive
finally, creating experiences

It is as simple as that.

What separates the Differentors from regular people is an awesome mix of the above.

• They usually display an acute sense of contextual awareness
• They can be discovered by their sharp focus on direction / purpose
• They look for ways to expand the sphere of influence
• They are sticklers for disciplined execution
• They change the rules of the game

This is a small shout out from me, for introspection and celebration of all Differentors around us.

Whatever role you play, whatever environment, the limitations or opportunities, create your Differentor avatar and reclaim your game.
